Refugee travel document
Hi family, I just returned from Africa using my refugee travel document. My I-485 has been pending for 708 days. Before I traveled, I filed a writ of mandamus lawsuit. About three weeks after I arrived in Africa, the USCIS attorney contacted me regarding the lawsuit and asked for a 25-day extension, which I accepted. About a week later, USCIS scheduled me for an interview in two weeks' time. When I returned from Africa, I was sent to secondary inspection, where I spent about 45 minutes. The officer asked me some basic questions. After I told him where I had traveled from, he said, "Welcome back home," stamped my refugee travel document, and issued me a new I-94. I was in Africa for 7 weeks
