What you can do is treat this like a second chance to slam-dunk the case by re-submitting your entire original NOID response plus everything updated and extra that proves the relationship is real, think joint taxes, leases, bills, photos, affidavits, timeline of your relationship, whatever has grown in the last seven months, and you should include a cover letter politely but firmly stating that you already responded to the previous NOID and you are resubmitting all evidence again to make sure the officer has everything in the record this time; upload it online and mail the hard copy so nothing “mysteriously disappears,” and if you want to level up you can also file a service request or ask a congressional office to verify that USCIS actually logs your response this time. Don’t panic — this isn’t a denial, it’s USCIS being USCIS, basically giving you another window to fight for your case, and as long as you respond thoroughly and on time, you’re still in the game.
