Received an email from USCIS
Hi folks, I just received the email from USCIS, and here’s the contents of the email:
Thank you for submitting a Form I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status) which has been transferred to a USCIS Field Office for review and adjudication. What to expect… Your Form I-485 will be reviewed promptly and may be adjudicated without an interview. If an interview is required, you will receive a separate notice with the date, time and location of your interview appointment. To expedite the processing of your Form I-485, please submit a valid and unexpired Form I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record) completed by an authorized Civil Surgeon. If you have already submitted a valid Form I-693 that has not yet expired, please do not send another Form I-693 at this time. In addition, if your Form I-485 filing is based on a spousal relationship with a United States Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident, please submit current and relevant documentation that substantiates your marital relationship. This is a courtesy notice and not an official Request for Evidence (RFE). If you have received an official RFE and/or an interview appointment notice, you may disregard this notice. However, if you wish to expedite the processing of your Form I-485, please submit the aforementioned documents along with a copy of this notice to the address below.

We still encourage you to undergo the immigration medical examination close to the time you file your Form I-485, because your Form I-693 is only valid for 2 years from the date of the civil surgeon’s signature. After the 2-year time frame, you must submit a new Form I-693 if we have not adjudicated your Form I-485. @yellow banana 🍌 It's written in the Immigration Alert, so I don't think you need to send the medical exam a second time.

hey there - I got this three days ago - came straight to my work email. it actually looked a bit spammy but clearly a bunch of us received it! Which FO did your case transfer to? Mine went to Honolulu…and then when I spoke to the live agent, they actually said it’s been there since Dec 2022, so not sure why I just got the courtesy notice! Any more updates?

I'm also in Seattle area and got this email 2 days ago. For me, it was transferred to Portland OR office. What I've been seeing from people is that if your case is transferred to a non-local office, the interview is waived mostly. If the case was transferred to a local office, then you might get an interview request.

@Ali Reza The notice clearly indicates that you don't need to submit i-693 if you have already. So I did nothing.
