@manu singh You should have received the receipt notices by now. If everything is filed correctly, it shouldn’t take more than a month to get the receipts. Have your lawyer reach out to the service center.

ask your lawyer to which service center he mailed it too? uscis just changed their processing location to Nebraska from Vermont for vawa in march. so if you lawyer sent it to Vermont center? your application might got transferred from Vermont to Nebraska that is why it’s taking so long for your receipts. but don’t worry you’ll get it sooner

@manu singh you might have to wait a bit more, if by any chance u already hv an alien number, then that can help you , call uscis and inquire about your receipt notice, for me my bank kept saying check not cashed but uscis already sent out notice

@manu singh that’s weird, some people who sent applications last week of April received their notices last week. I suggest you to sit tight for 3 more weeks and then have your lawyer contact uscis.

@uscislin linuscis I don’t think calling uscis would help since it’s a vawa case and it is very confidential, only way to reach out is through the official attorney.

@A p yes, I agree but I was able to get my receipt numbers through emma chat agent, so i believe once you verify your identity they are able to atleast give your receipt numbers
