Receipt date for a case inquiry
what does Receipt date for a case inquiry on USCIS processing time means? Does it indicates that they’re processing cases within that range?
eg; November 11-2020, it means they’re processing November 11th cases right now? or it means people before November 11th can expedite their cases? TIA! it’s confusing as at the top it says 2-4.5 months if read through lines at the bottom it gives something else!

any case submitted on or before November 11 2020 and did not get a feedback can submit a case enquiry and people who have gotten a feedback are just in the process of denial or approval status.

And the USCIS website where you see check case status, find in the dropdown Box and see which service centre, then select the type of application and submit then you will see all the information comes up. in this app as well, you can check on approvals then it will tell you how many approvals or denials on this type of case

Brother be patient. it usually takes 6 months. nowadays it’s taking even longer. have you done your biometric ?

The 2.5 to 4 months is just a mean value of processing times for all types of 765 applications I believe. as for your question on processing time indication, some people say and believe it is and some that it isn’t, there is no proof that they are currently processing November applications and there isn’t any way to tell that with great certainty, unfortunately. Sit back and try to relax, I know it can be tough and anxious, but there is nothing you can do but be patient. I’m in the same boat
