Usually if you have a lawyer, all the letters go to them, that’s what lawyers do. But if you want to change your mailing address you can do it directly by just sending a change of mailing address application & attaching all the documents. Also, if you don’t see any update online regarding your cases, it’s because there’s none, not because the lawyer isn’t informing you. The online updates are almost 100% correct.

just get a form of change address on USCIS website and send it to them.

@Alix map I will suggest you call them and let uscis officer help you do it. I did mine online sometimes ago but never changed until I put a call through.

I did that calling uscis and mailed out with the correct forms, all that information is in the website

I tried changing the address as well but you have to do what Kanye East said, file a form, that's the only way, with a letter stating that this is your new and safe address
