Re-Entry Documents Needed for Advance Parole
I'm planning to visit South Korea soon using Advance Parole.
Since this is my first time traveling with a travel document, I'm not entirely sure what I need to present when re-entering the US.
Could you let me know what specific documents I should bring and have ready at immigration?

take advance parole doc, i485 approval notice, EAD and passport

yes when you return back you can just give passport, i485 receipt notice letter and AP doc for secondary verification. You will be OK. I traveled twice using AP through Chicago.

@Kylie Lee Every time I went through, they only asked me for my passport and Advance Parole. Nothing else.

I traveled 5 times using AP. At both JFK and Newark airports, when I entered the U.S., they only checked my passport and AP doc. They didn’t ask for or check anything else.
last time I traveled in 2025. I’m not sure if there have been any new changes this year.

@Vino Th You’re right! All the immigration lawyers I see talking about the process say that now is not the time to travel abroad.

@Kylie Lee traveled 3 months ago and yes they asked me for my Ap approval notice with the physical Ap card took like 20 mins I traveled through Miami international airport.
