honest answer: be patient, i know its tough on you. but you did everything you could. so many people sending soo many requests slowing down the approval process. some legit people who really need it losing their jobs. others just impatient. it is taking close to year ro get ead with or without expedting. as you already lost a job I recommend stop bugging them, do your part so they will have less requests to handle and get more time for approvals.

pablo you didn’t even answer his question but you have a nerve to lecture him and blame USCIS slow processing problems with people that needs the help first I believe you wrong about your assumptions about others I am guessing you had easy timelines you don’t what people go through with USCIS so my advice to you if your not helping please don’t judge what you don’t know

y k - I don't know if too many requests hurts your application or not, but one think I know for sure is that immigratting into the US is very tough and dealing with USCIS is a lengthy and slow process that requires you to wait. at most, too many requests might exacerbate USCIS. put yourself in their shoes. they have a lot of applications to go through, more applications than they have officers to deal with them all, hence the backlogs. sometimes it is good to step outside our own shoes and try to imagine how things could be for others from their shoes. the truth is that USCIS dont owe any of us anything and they don't have to grant any of our requests. there's a system in place. yes, it is flawed, but USCIS is struggling too. please, be patient. I know it is easier said than done, but at this point there is nothing else that you can do but wait. USCIS employees are humans too. 🙂

y k - this sounds like the job that I just got. try to have the congress representative send an expedite request, not an inquiry. in my experience inquiries almost never go anywhere. I made a post about how to go about expedite requests. search #expediterequest for instance. you should find that post. I gave tips from my experience. I hope this helps you. 🙂

@yk, I am not advising you to keep calling but I will say follow your instinct. I had similar issue early this year. I kept calling till I got someone to listen. Fear of not loosing my dream Job, I remember talking to someone who told me nothing can be done about it but eventually I got someone who asked me to tell her the reason why I want it expedited. I told her my reason and she was like is that all and I said yes . then she said tell me more if you really need this stuff cos I am writing it for them to see and I want them to approve. Trust somebody I started talking ltill she said that’s enough . Lol. I got it approved after 2days.
