Quit working for sponsor employer
my PD is 01/2022 and I have worked for my sponsor employer for almost 2 yrs full-time position ranging from 30-40hrs per week. I also have another remotely job that I have been doing for almost 3 yrs and now they offer me full-time position with full benefits but I have to come to the office (office in CA and I’m currently working for sponsor employer in GA). My case is still in CRP so idk if I can quit working for my sponsor employer now 😅 They are also giving 4 months to finish whenever I’m doing here so I don’t know if I will have my GC in time 🥲

I have a feeling that USCIS will try to clear 2021 cases in Q2 of 26. Your turn should come after that. Try to stall moving to CA, that’s ur best bet. But TBH, even if you move to CA, you will need to come back to GA and work for your unskilled employer after receiving GC at least for few months. I know 2 folks who are fighting USCIS as USCIS is sending NOID for their N400 as they stopped working immediately after receiving GC.

@Paan Singh oh I will quit working for my sponsor employer asap I have GC for sure. I’m not really worry about N400 since I will wait for at least 6yrs to file for N400 as I was told that they will clear previous record after 6 yrs. it’s been an exhausting wait; I really don’t want to wait longer 🫠

I’m not gonna take any risks at this point but just trying to explore what options I have here since I really want to take that job 🥲
