quick question
so if I have my work authorisation approved does that mean I passed my background check?

there are separate background checks for each forms

@Katie wilder I don’t think so. I used to think that way, but I had my EAD approved two days after my biometrics. From my understanding, fingerprints get sent to the FBI, and that takes at least 2 weeks to go back to USCIS. That being said, I do not know what type of background checks is done for the EAD.
