Questions about EB3 I-140 approval and receipts of I-485, I-765, and I-131 as a F-1 student
I have a quick question. I got approved for my I-140 recently on February as well as received some receipts of I-765, I-485, and I-131. Some people advise me to let my school know about my I-140 approval to terminate my SEVIS because I’m no longer an international student. I also applied to my OPT after college graduation on December 2020 and I’m still waiting for combo card. However, my friend who is also doing EB3 advises me that I should maintain studying and doing EB3 in order to get higher chance of green card. Is that true? Anyone knows about this?

You should keep your OPT until the green card is approved. I used my opt until it expired after my i140 approval. i still do not have my green card

I got biometric appointment in March 2019 two months after concurrent filing of I140 and I485

you need to keep your F1 student visa until you get your Green card. In the worst case scenario, if green card gets denial, at least you have your F1 legal status.

No. They noticed she purchased her job position through another company. she paid 5.000 for not skilled job
