expedite through senator you need to provide all your bills and show that without employment you wont be able to pay and survive. if you are currently and working and you risk loosing your job,show them prove that you wil loose your job. in my case I provided emails and messages feom my employer asking for an updated work permit because mine was expired. write a goos statement to the senator,they will send that to uscis. good luck

I mean usually when tou file under C09 youll get the EAD in a couple of months after and then they'll work on the 360 amd 485

Thanks everyone for the reply. My attorney has filed C31 initially, and I was waiting the whole time for a EAD. 309 days ago, I have filed C09, after getting awareness. In the meantime, I was on H1B. However, looks like my employer might not renew my H1B. I have medical issues, I need EAD, and insurance in order for me sustain until the main case is adjudicated. This is very stressful, especially when you lose your work authorization and health insurance. I have until March 31, 2026.

He's sure it's the C9 work permit, not the C31. Check your receipts to see which category you're in because many lawyers apply for the C31 instead of the C09, and these have different approval dates.

c31 should not be even in the calculation. That comes only after 360 is approved. C09 is the only way for you to have EAD.
