Question
hello everyone! i hope you are all doing good. I have questions. I have an approved i30 from my husbands petition back in 2016. After that he was Physically abusive and he's always threathening me, So i run away from him in 2017. We never filed a divorce. I filed vawa with i485 on Jan 2023 and I got my biometrics last May 19. I got my prima facie last May 1. My case online said fingerprint was taken in my i485 only. Not in my vawa, ead, and AP application. What does it means? And Can i use my i30 priority date which was 2016 to my i360? Thank you.

it means they have applied your finger print from initial application and your case is progressing. the next step would be to receive your prima facie and VAWA based EAD, or maybe an RFE for good moral conduct.

@Mac Fredrick I already got the prima facie. Im just wondering if I can use my i30 priority date which is way back in 2016 to my i360?

that might eventually count for your I-485 when VAWA gets approved. it would not count for I-360.

send them a letter to transfer your priority date or ask your lawyer if you have one or google vawa abeyance I seen some people comment on here about that
