Question I-130
Hello everyone,
I have some questions and maybe you all can help to ease me a bit. so I am a green card holder filing form I-130 for my spouse last September 2022 and they updated that they’re actively review since November 2022 so it’s about 9months now and I am still waiting. Do you know how long will it take to get to a decision? Some people that applied after me already got approved but mine wasn’t which is frustrating as I’ve been checking almost everyday.

I think LPR filing for spouse cases usually take more than a year

@September P22 my I-130 US citizen spouse PD is November 22 and still active review since 11/04/2022 and nothing yet you’re Green card spouse it’s too early to worry about it

@September P22 if you talking about 2023 cases it’s so fast but 2022 and 2021 so slow

@maria Pimentel wow my office was California also and they approve me 11 months and a week. I m from July 2022

my PD is for February 2022 and I got activity review the same day when I applied
my case is in California and I never heard nothing back

I'm PD August 16, 2021 and I'm still waiting as well. Our case is outside normal processing to which I've contacted Tx Congressman several time as well as completed a service request for USCIS. Congressman was of no use and after waiting 30 days exactly for a response to the servic request, USCIS responded with an email Saturday saying that they're still reviewing our case. No time-frame was given. We're 23 months waiting. This is for sure a nightmare.

I think it’s just a. luck game with uscis. some people wait a couple months and some people wait a couple years 🤓

i agree to that mine was march 2022 got my work permit interview was wave last year july still no discussion it is a nightmare I hope its soon for all of of because it’s confusing

I'm Sept 2022 also and my I-130 still says Receipt Notice Sent. It hasn't even changed to Actively Reviewing and it's been 10 months already

@Debbie Amarachi it's about time 🙂. Fingers crossed they approve you quickly after you submit it. I'm hoping the only RFE they will need from me if for my medical. Thanks for sharing your update with me. keep me posted 🤞
