Question about interview
Has anyone had an interview waived then been told that they have requested you for an interview, but have not set your date yet ? I just spoke with a USCIS Emma agent on live chat and was told that, although my interview is waived, they have requested that I have an interview, but I have not said the date yet. This makes no sense to me.. If they have requested an interview, this must mean they’re going to set the date so it can’t be that the interview was waived??

What exactly do you ask Emma to find out if it’s waived or not? because I’ve been asking and she kept telling me USCIS will send me mail and let me know if I have a interview.

@believe God they told me my interview was waived in September 2023 and now they says it’s not waived .

@M A I just asked if there is an update on my case regarding an interview and they said the interview was waived in September 2022

don’t believe it even you got rfe for medical still you will get interview now emma told my interview waived but after couple month I had interview

@jet blue yes it happened to me your interview date will come in the mail after awhile I did ask amma and she told me the date there won't be no letter for your interview in your account

@tas smith will the app update when they send the interview letter out? I keep checking my online account for any updates on the interview. according to the Emma agent I spoke with yesterday the interview is requested but no date has been scheduled. my case been at my local FO for almost 3 months already

@jet blue don't bother yourself looking for information your status only going to change to interview schedule after about a week you get the letter in the mail it will takes like 37 days after receiving the letter for your appointment
