Question about field office dealing with my case
We filed both I-130 and I-485 at April 2023 (Case number starts with IOE). I received RFE asking for medical on May from NBC and the case status changed to “RFE response received” around 20 days ago after I submitted my response. I chatted with Emma today to ask where is my case right now and she said it is in Seattle office. I was so happy because I thought that means NBC has cleared the case and sent it to Seattle field office for either scheduling an interview or something like that. I asked Emma to confirm if my case was actually transferred to Seattle field office from NBC but she didn’t say anything but just “the NBC and the field office work together to process the case.” and ended the chat
Wondering if anyone can explain what that means? Does it actually mean that our case was transferred back to field office and I’m expecting to get an interview or an approval?

please just to be mindful sometimes Emma don’t know exactly where your case truly is. they will tell you something and u believe it then after that u spoke to another Emma agent and it’s the opposite

Hey, is there any updates on your case? I filed April2023 and found out today that my case has been transferred to Seattle FO since 07/11. Not sure how long will it take to hear back..

same my case moved to seattle FO on 08/01 from NBC I checked with emma after submitting my RFE no updates after it

@mayank goswami Well my i765 and i131 are both approved on October 8th. the same day that my i485 and i130 became being actively reviewed. sent another inquiry to Emma and they said i130 was indeed transferred back to Seattle FO from NBC back in June.. hope it is a good sign

@keep waiting Just see that your case was approved Congrats! Mind sharing when your i130 became actively review and how long it takes before receiving your approval notice?
