has USCIS asked you for medical Rfe???

@hope hope NBC to FO is normal and it’s actually a good sign that your case is making progress.. but NBC to FO and back to NBC is weird and making no sense to me. and without notification is normal I have seen a lot of case transferring from VSC to NBC without notifications including mine, even I got to know about my transfer when I actually called USCIS to inquire about my I-485 they said it has been transferred to NBC. regarding Medicals, I have submitted my medical report along with my initial filing which was already expired so I am waiting for them to send an RFE for Medicals. I asked my attorney if I can get my medical exam done while waiting for them to send an RFE but I have been told to wait until USCIS request one.

also my attorney said they send you RFE medicals and most likely waive the Interview or they might ask you to bring the medical report to Interview.

@March 2023 : that is my big concern now , there isn’t any reason FO , sent my 485 back !!!!😔😔 hopefully nothing bad happens again !The lady who I spoke with said my case in progress, everything show normal!!!! she did an inquiry behalf of me because my time was behid . However; I used my attorney mailing was my mailing address which Maryland but I am living in Washington. I don’t know why uscis use my attorney location (State) they sent me to Maryland for fingerprint.

I don’t know about other people. when I applied for vawa , I didn’t have any safe address, was being in DV shelter, that’s why I did used his address as a my mailing address, since that tima until now all of my mails from uscis goes their , than I picked up my mails.

@hope hope Your case looks similar to mine, they sent my biometric appointment to another state where my attorney’s office is cause I used their address as my mailing address. @Bakhtiyor M agree with you, happend with me.

@March 2023 so, just to make it clear - if they send RFE there is a chance to waive interview and then there is other option that they request RFE and tell you in that notice to bring it to interview?

later I updated my address cause I don’t want to travel again for the Interview and also the nearest field office to my attorney’s address is the busiest FO, so to avoid any further delays I changed my address. I asked my attorney if USCIS sents me a notice to attend Interview which FO it would be and He said most probably the place where I am currently residing cause USCIS acknowledged the change of address.

@hope hope Don’t worry everything will be normal and will all get approvals without an Interview.

I been waiting for my medical 11 months and no answer from uscis I’m so frustrated

@March 2023 :Hopefully 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 driving Washington to Maryland it’s only takes 15 minutes for me , I rather to keep his address instead. Always there is something abnormal in my case , at end issue solved but kills me to solve.😬😔

@sisi ll I am sorry, I don’t get it how USCIS works cause I have seen people got their RFE for medicals in 2 months after Vawa approval and also seen people waiting from more than 10 months. it’s weird but other than waiting and praying we can’t do anything about it. 😞

@hope hope Then don’t update your address, you never know changing your address might cause more delays in your case.

@Mrkvica M. Yes that’s what my attorney told me and also I have seen some videos on Youtube with the same information. You can search youtube how things works at NBC. I will try to send you the link of that particular video where I found this information.

@March 2023 i also read that somewhere. It makes me wonder what's the percentage of people who really sent RFE and had interview. I saw posts where people sent RFE and had interview and I also saw posts where people sent RFE and their interview was waived

USCIS contact center doesn’t provide any information about VAWA online. That’s because the customer service representative don’t have access to any cases related to VAWA. Who exactly did you speak to?

@Kanye East : Brfore was exactly like you are saying, they didn’t give us any information, I think after Vawa got approved, their policy changed. person in customer center, answered all my questions related to my case.🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

@Kanye East What you are saying is with Vawa application when it is pending. Once your Vawa is approved you can contact them regarding your I-485 and they will answer all your questions. This is my personal experience, I tried to reach out to USCIS to expedite my Vawa but they asked me to write letter but after Vawa approval I was able to get information on my I-485 and also requested to expedite it over the phone.

@free life :no any news , all are same , don’t know why they didn’t send me RFE for medical! people who had submitted their 485 after me , their vawa approved after my approval, got their medical RFE. I am really tired and hopeless again . regarding your question! how do I know where is my 485 , I called call number, some agent are kind and provide date of transfer and location of 485 .

@good day is coming I called 10 times different days and different agents they all told me they the second actively reviewed was my case transferred to the field office and interview waived and no flag of rfe
