Covid happened in 2020 at the end of Trump administration Biden admin was left with the huge back log of Covid cases so I don’t think that’s a fair comparison.

use your critical thinking here.. who furloughed thousands of USCIS workers and made executive orders to divert the skeleton staff , and also required extra checks and balances on the immigration process? simple. Biden was left with an inbox from hell.

on trump it was faster because trump received uscis with good policies, but trumps had changed must of them, trump cut the budget of uscis by half, decrease the number of employee working in area like work permit asylum an citizenship, so all of those new policies don't have effect in 1 or 2 years.

@peter vl don’t let’s forget the public charge rule and all the ways his admin sort to limit legal immigration. I don’t know how any immigrant will even think trump admin was better for us. we were constantly living in fear even though I’m married to a us citizen. always checking my phone for ugly new policies which were always bad news
