I talked multiple time with USCIS agent and they told me that their is no pause on green card based on asylum, I talked with multiple agent not one

@Qa khan There hasn’t been an official announcement, so I don’t think they’re obligated to confirm the pause. Also, if you spoke with Emma agents, they’re just contractors and might simply not know. AILA and AIC wouldn’t have filed FOIA requests with USCIS and DHS if there weren’t actually a pause.

@Qa khan As they said, "USCIS is placing a temporary pause on finalizing certain Adjustment of Status applications…" The problem is, nobody knows exactly which ones. If you’re closely watching the process, it’s clear that the number of approvals has dropped significantly. Also, getting an RFE or even being called for an interview doesn’t mean much right now. Cases are moving slowly, but they’re not finalizing them. Many people have been waiting for months after interviews with no decision. It used to be much faster before the pause. Let’s wait for the DHS/USCIS response to the FOIA request, that should tell us exactly which types of cases are on hold.
