Primary GC issued, dependent taking forever
my wife’s GC is still at biometrics even when mine has already been approved and issued since last November as the primary applicant. Is this normal?

in my case as well the dependent came in 3 weeks late.. the dependent application in my case was sent to Miami field office.. it went to Miami and then came back to NBC.. not sure why the applications are being sent to field offices.. may be reduce the processing load

Thanks for that. In our case it’s been already more than 10 weeks. Also because my GC has been approved I sense they’re no longer processing our EAD extensions. So frustrating.

yeah.. I know the pain.. my wife had to take a break from work.. since we did not get ead ( gc was issued directly) I lost my non immigrant status.. also the time it takes to come back from the field office depends on the field office... I was lucky Miami was fast.. my friends application went to Albuquerque and he is in your boat.. more than 3 months and nothing yet....
