premium processing and RFE
Recently spoke to an immigration lawyer (not my own) who informed me that a) when you apply for premium processing, there is a higher chance of getting an RFE and b) if you receive a “kitchen sink” RFE (which I did), it’s just the USCIS officer buying themselves some time before they have to deal with the case. has anyone else heard this? also, is there any merit in the Lawfully analysis? it says 97% success rate for EB1C with only 20% receiving an RFE.

For my EB1A, lawyer said there's no direct impact with RFE. I definitely received a "kitchen sink" RFE which was approved within 1 day after review of RFE response.

thanks @a a . when you say review of RFE, I assume it took a few days until it was under active review? while I know that each case is different, I’m taking solace in the experiences of others.

yes, received RFE on Nov 4, updated to active review on Nov 8, and approved within the hour same day. each case/ agent is unique and USCIS is unpredictable so there's that!

Thanks for sharing. I did it on the App "Inmigra USA" the community of Immigrants in the United States. inmigrausa.com There are immigration lawyers and free collaborators. Stay up to date on news of interest to the Latino community. Search Inmigrate USA. I chose the Florida community, it looks like they are starting now, so I recommend you choose Florida. Busca inmigra USA el app del inmigrante, de verdad es muy buena tambien. Thanks!!!
