our RFE was also for birth certificates (already submitted too). it could also be for medicals.

@Mimi Rmd Thank you for your response! That would be surprising coz I attached my birth certificate. I am not entirely sure about the medical since I am not a surgeon

@KY KY similar situation. my wife got an RFE on May 9th (still have not received the mail) but my child and I did not. We are assuming it’s birth certificate since we sent medicals along with our application and I also sent my Supplement J (EB1-C)

@KY KY I also submitted my birth certificates at first but they asked for it a second time anyway... They might try to gain some time (I'm also EB1)

Ours were birth certificates. I ‘ve requested the translator’s business certificate and shared that as well this time. Better to be safe than sorry. 😅Hoping to receive our approvals soon 🙏🏼

My dependents (spouse and 2 kids) all had requests for birth certificates even though we had included them for all 4 of us.

@B J Very surprising. A lot of people have reported RFE on birth certificate. I don’t know why USCIS does this
