@Rijo Rijo for my case i-140 approval had the EB2 priority rate. but the receipt notice had EB1 only. I am not 100% sure but looks like that proting PD date request should be part of i140.

my eb2 priority date is 2015, however priority date on eb1 approval is 2023. I just applied for 485 and my attorney has put 2023 in 485 application with a cover letter asking them to use my priority date from eb2. I’m waiting for receipt number. I will update if my application is accepted.

@M S, thanks for sharing. I have noticed that USCIS will use the earlier PD upon approving a petition but not at the time of receipt. Now, since my application is not approved, I am not sure how best to let USCIS know that I want the earlier PD for my adjustment.

@Rijo Rijo got it. mine was not concurrent filing. I believe once your I 140 approved your old PD will be applied to 485 too. Concurrent filing is common, I think you should be good. all the best!

just got the text messages with receipt numbers. I hope it means they have accepted my applications
