total days means the day USCIS received your case to now .. you can divide that number in 30 and see how many month
Jessica VDec 1, 2021
You’ve been waiting for 6 months.
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
yes iv been waiting for 6 months now. what's d normal waiting period before u know if your case was approved by USCIS and u get your biometrics/appointment?
Jessica VDec 1, 2021
For my 129-F, it took 9 months and an RFE to get approved. Right now, they’re backlogged, I believe. You don’t get any biometrics done, that’s until the actual K-1.
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
what do u mean by I'm backlogged dear?
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
I believe my lawyer already sent my RFE
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
we don't have to do biometrics for k1 visa
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@Jessica Valero they requested for some evidence which my lawyer said he submitted. what do you mean by they're back logged. and do u mean i wunt have my biometrics done till after iv been granted my visa?
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka parsai if no biometrics then is it just interview?
Jessica VDec 1, 2021
The biometrics is in the police report done by the fiancé in their foreign country, that’s the K-1 requirement.
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
omg you did k1 visa right ??
Jessica VDec 1, 2021
This timeline you shared doesn’t show you have an RFE.
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
Jessica Valero Right
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka parsai yes I did fiancée visa
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
Aisha Sirisena what are you saying .. if you did that then we don't have to do Biometrics.. your fiance will do in his country..
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@jessica valero yes because I didn't input info when I opened this app. I gotta ask lawyer for d details
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
Aisha Sirisena your timeline doesn't show that USCIS asked you for RFE ... what are you talking about 😂😂
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
menuka parsai I'm confused bout d visa stuff cos my fiancée been processing everything from his country and I have no idea what's going on or what simple things mean that's y I'm asking questions lol
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
Your fiance Don't have to processes anything from his country now. once you get approved from USCIS . they will send it to NVC in that case your fiance has to do something not now
Jessica VDec 1, 2021
@Aisha, is your fiancé in the US or are you?
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
iv never met my fiancée in person do u think I can still get visa?
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@jessica my fiancée is in US
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
not 100% USCIS requirements is you have to met in person in last 2 years without metting I don't think so .. but hoped for best who knows
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka my fiancée applied for a visa for me in his country
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
so you are beneficiary??
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka he is having a disability which doesn't permit him to come meet me
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka I have no idea what beneficiary is lol
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
well idk without meeting idk but who knows
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
if you know the fullform of lol you should know what beneficiary means 🤣🤣🤣
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka beneficiary of what?
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
Beneficiary is the one whos coming to USA in k1 visa and petitioner is the one who applied for k1 visa and who's us citizen who live in USA
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
how you got engaged if you never met in person.. k1 is known as fiance visa
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
he applied this visa 3 years ago so we can meet in US and engage/marry. we never met before cos of his disability he can't travel he has muscle dystrophy and I couldn't apply for visa from my country cos d requirements is we must have met in person before so he applied for visa for me from his country. I'm guessing his request for me to come meet him was not denied since USCIS said my case was received
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka ohhh now I understand. yes I'm d beneficiary and he is a US citizen by birth living in US and he is d one who applied for me
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka lol we actually not engaged I just call him my fiancé since he sent me a nice ring :)
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
if the case said received then how come you got RFE ??
menuka parsaiDec 1, 2021
there's less chance of getting approved by USCIS .. if they wants to denied then they will do it later when they actually review your case .. just wait until you hear from from USCIS
inti maybeDec 1, 2021
@menuka I have no idea d order in which my case is being process my fiancée got a request for evidence and a receipt of notice idk which came first
