Hello everyone,
I have a query regarding US Spouse Visa (CR1 / IR1) biometric appointment in India.
On my ustraveldocs portal, “Mumbai IV” is auto-selected and I do not see any option to choose another city.
Also, currently no biometric slots are available on the portal.
Can someone please confirm:
Is biometric appointment for immigrant spouse visa conducted only in Mumbai, or are there other VAC locations as well?
If anyone has recent experience, please share Thank you 🙏

I believe it’s only auto selected. we don’t have any option to choose the location any other location.

we not have to book appointment Embassy automatically send you scheduled appointment letter.

I’m sorry we have to book the appointment. It’s not gonna be automatically sorry for long information. I just asked my lawyer then she told me sorry about that again.

btw my interview date is 24feb 2026 & i have booked my medical which is 16th Jan 2026 and also registered and fill the application for biometric appointment but I have anable to book the slot becouse it's showing no slots available

I think you have to keep looking at website, so maybe you find the appointment date ,if available..
