Hopefully yours moves faster but mine has been on that stage since may 2025 and i keep waiting. The interview should be about the same things on your form, they could ask a few questions about your asylum claim but you should be fine

Basically what they ask if everything in your story, they will ask different ways to be sure.Be confident but not coming out cocky, pray and you will be fine.

This status simply means USCIS has finished reviewing the basic parts of your I-485 and your case is now waiting for an interview slot at your local field office. The interview has not been scheduled yet. When a date becomes available, the status will change to “Interview Was Scheduled” and you will receive a notice with the time, place, and instructions. The interview itself is usually straightforward. An officer will verify your identity, review the information you put on your I-485, and confirm that you still qualify for the green card category you applied under. They may ask questions about your immigration history, work, or relationship depending on your case type. You normally bring your passport and the original documents you submitted with the application. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them in our next Lawfully office hours session!. - Attorney Ana Gabriela Urizar (All information shared here is for general educational purposes only.
