I will go for a 3 months vacation somewhere remote, just me alone. Some place where I am surrounded by nature. Somewhere deep inside a national park or something. I am tired of taking care of everyone in my family - got 8 members in my family back in my country - Who I have supporting financially for 14 years. I don’t even save much from the money that I earn because I have to take care of them. It would be nice to do something for myself once.

@Hope Hope I submitted my medicals almost two months, but not response yet. they only updated that they have received it. I am just wondering why it will take time after medicals have been submitted.

@Mrkvica M. I have student loan I am paying for, I don’t want to go back for my masters and pay “out of state tuition “. A pending case will pause your life! All I can try to do now will be to take some courses, and be prepared to make the best out of my green card when it comes. But, try to stay strong and positive. some people that don’t have these immigration issues, definitely have other issues that they are dealing with.

@Charlaprince princelachar i totally feel you. But we are dealing with this, life at the stand still and 9 days ago I found out that the polyp they removed was cancer and that is probably from all the stress. It is not easy, for sure. Especially for us who have no family here

do you guys know if you call USCIS & they create a service request on your behalf and you the service request # how long it takes to hear back from the service center? they say VSC only sends email but the request was made more than a month ago & still heard nothing from them

@remaining hopeful ; I mean , My 485 is out of the prossing time , I applied it on December 28,2020 , last update on my 485 belong to July 26,2021. I didn’t get RFE for medical since my 360 has been approved. my 485 after being transferred between to many fields office, finally stop moving on NC field office. the only thing the agent of call center said “ on july 3th they added expired medical form to my 485 , i did this medical on November 2020. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😢

I have two I-485, but I linked my 2nd I-485 to the VAWA. I feel bad, maybe I should have just stuck with the old I-485 that I submitted in 2019. the new one I have is only two years old. and my interviews was based on this new one.

@Hope Hope ooohh gotcha! if I were you I’d start getting your medical exam ready so that when the rfe comes in you can send the documents over right away. hate that it took 3 years for them to put an expired medical exam update. that’s definitely annoying

@Mrkvica M. things changed a lot here. Doesn’t seem to be prosperous as before. All my dreams and hopes here became resentment. Giving up on a lot, not to mention the humiliation. Maybe getting citizenship but the future seems to be overseas(very long term). *im just not a in good state of mind, sorry.

This process drained me so much that I don't feel like a human being anymore. I was full of life before, happy, positive, I had selfconfidence and now I am just old, hopeless and with no joy 😔
