Plan to travel out of country for 4 to 5 months
Hi Everyone, I need your advice. I’ve been planning to travel to Canada for a few months but my green card is still pending but I have advance parole. I discussed it with my lawyer about a month ago. The lawyer recommended some documents and said that I should go ahead with my travel plans, assuring me that I will be fine. However, with the situation worsening and Trump imposing a travel ban on Pakistan, I’m now unsure. What do you think I should do—go ahead with my plans or postpone them?

you are not guaranteed to come back under this administration unless you have citizenship. So personally I wouldn’t risk it. what is your status now?

go for it , get another lawyer opinion but I think AP is an important document. it is meant to allow free travel within and outside the country. country ban is only applicable for tourists . you are in us - what’s your visa currently?
