Phoenix Field office despair
Hi, wanting to connect with people who may be waiting for Phoenix to give them appointments for biometrics or interviews. I had an interview scheduled for 04/09/2020 and it was cancelled 03/31/2020 due to Covid. I have literally heard nothing since - I’ve raised SR’s - called and badgered them as much as possible. Their response was basically just wait - your case is pending......
I’m losing hope we’ll ever see the light of day again 😂
so frustrating as we were a few days away from our interview to now only be lost in the maelstrom.
anyone else dealing with this in Phoenix I’d love to hear from you.

hello, sorry to hear that. I'm in Phoenix and my interview was ready to be scheduled in March of 2020 and then the interview notice came in December of 2020. we've since completed the interview and received the GC (this was a marriage based petition).
if you'd like to know the name of a local attorney we used he might be able to offer some guidance?

ok interesting - thanks for your feedback. there is possibly they might waive my interview but nevertheless - I have raised a case with the Ombudsman and my attorney is also writing to them. appreciate the message

@tom that's good. glad you're getting them involved. i do feel like everyone who filed right around the time covid became mainstream has been getting the short end of the stick because I believe people who filed around summer 2020 have gotten to their appointments quicker than those who filed pre-covid. as you know, uscis is fairly dysfunctional as it is, throw in a pandemic and last year's threat of budget shortfalls and they are an accident waiting to happen. hang in there my friend. I'm sure they'll get to you soon, God-willing.

@tom I am in the same position. interview cancelled a year ago due to pandemic. raised couple of SRs. latest Sr says interview could be possibly waived. we regret can't provide you a timeline. raised ombudsman but they responded in seventeen days saying it's within processing times :(😥

huh, well I have literally heard nothing! almost like they lost the case! losing hope of any sort of rsolution don’t know what else to do. tried the Ombudsman but they didn’t get back fro me. how long did it take for them to respond to you?
