You should call USCIS so they can make an inquiry to upgrade the category. after two o three days, they will ask you to send the naturalization certificate under evidence on your USCIS account.

if you have an uscis account with your case, write a letter and upload it along with your proof citizenship

they will approve in 30 days

once you upload the evidence and send the documents by mail, they will send you an email when it’s upgraded. Will take a while. mine took like 6 months.

@A K Once you submitted on your uscis account it will change automatically, you don't have to do anything else. I did it, once I submitted it three hours later they approved my I-130

I already submitted on my uscis account and called them as well. it's been almost 30 days and still did not heard anything

hey @AK rai and @A K i have also filled an upgrade request from f2a to ir2 at uscics. my attorney has send a letter and certificate of naturalisation to vermont service center she has asked me to wait 2-3 weeks for the response from uscics

I thought when i became citizen everythiis ok and smoth… bt i was wrong😂… its so stressful ☹️☹️☹️. jus one thing only upgrading status they make it difficult..uscis don’t care about anything

@A K any updates??? one of my friend got this reply. the service request has been assigned to an officer, but not responded to you yet. it was his 21 day after the service request i recommend you to keep on asking them what’s the recent action on ur case and ur service request has already 30 what’s the update on that.
