petioner leaving country
My wife filed i485 and i130 for me she is a US citizen and I applied for aos. I did my fingerprints in Sept and no change since then. Will it matter if my wife visits our home country for a month I can't join her because I don't have ap or Gc but can she go?

same case here. I did my fingerprints last oct 8. no update yet. I am not sure if it is okay that your wile will go home in your home country. I guess it is okay but not quite sure because you are the main applicant

She can certainly go and visit, it would affect your case unless she had to miss an interview for the I-130 or something like that.

yes she can go home….it is just a month and I don’t think USCIS would schedule an interview and even if they do, they usually give 3/4 weeks notice ahead of the date

just make sure she gets back into the country once you receive the interview notice, but she will need to be isolated for 10days before the interview else it will be rescheduled talking from experience
