Pending I-485 and traveled abroad
I’ll share my recent experience with you guys trying to understand what could’ve happened in my situation.
Well, despite my AP was approved I never received the AP document itself…. Just the approval notice.
Since my L1 is still valid, I traveled abroad for the year ending holidays with my I-129 and I-131 approval notice (just in case).
When coming back to the USA it was a smooth process but something unusual happened: the officer asked me to fingerprinting (all 10 fingers)…. But not only that, my I-94 did not change!
I mean, still kept my previous I-94 date (before traveling abroad)…. It seems weird, no?
I was wondering here if this has any relation to my I-131 or I-485….

This is because you are paroled based on on your I31.

Thanks guys, indeed I was scratching my head here if I was paroled or still under L1A.
Because eventually my I-9 need to be updated with my employer.
It worth to mention that the officer looked my I-129 as well and my wife I-94 was updated (as L2S).
Anyways, I asked my attorney and waiting a guidance from him.
