pending adjudication
i heard many nigerian cases are pending adjudication for years ,they just keep renewing ead but no decision on i485. this is really sad and discouraging. my friend in atl is on her 3rd ead. cases are not even being updated online.

the admin change will help resolve these issues. filing a writ of mandamus must help if someone is on their 3rd ead

It is not just Nigerians. I know cases from Canada that have been waiting too. There is a problem with UScis and some cases have issues that UCsis has to resolve. my 2 cents. Let’s not work ourselves up by just thinking all the issues have to do with nationality. I know people who submitted their applications in September-November who have not even received acknowledgment.

I am Nigerian but USCIS called and also wrote me yesterday apologizing and promising to send my GC within 90 days. The lady told me how they themselves have lost staff due to COVID. I was dumbfounded by how graceful and professional she was. So I don’t think they target countries to just punish people. I think they target cases that do not look genuine to them. Of course, those cases tend to come from particular parts of the world. But anyway I am EB1b

@ Nalla, I was really moved when I got the call and then she followed up with a mail summarizing our call. I filed Nov 1 2019, fingerprinted in Dec 4 2019 ,and did medicals May2020.
