yea August 2021 😩 tired of the wait especially while seeing people that filed last year and this year already getting approved

same here 😭was your progress tab on USCIS website changed recently? @Tia Forris mine was “case is taken longer” since I remember, and 2 days ago it changed to 3 weeks.. I’m not sure if I can trust this at all

august 2021 still waiting. I was asked for my medical it’s been delivered June 28th noting been updated

@Anna Miller yessss mine changed from taking longer than expected to 2 weeks , I don’t know how to trust it either but I’m praying that both of us get through soon because truly the wait is frustrating! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😭

I applied in July 2022 and was approved today. I get how you applying in 2021 upsets you that other people get approved faster. for me personally mine is different since I’m Canadian ours get handled faster than people from other countries. however I have noticed recently people being approved after 2-6 months 🙄 absolutely stupid. hoping you get your approval soon! my fingers are crossed for you!

@miaa brown yup that's the way people's from Europe & America behave Asians or Arab's, I'm waiting my case since 2021 actively reviewing 3 times, got RFE 2 TIMES, the big blunder was my wife citizenship denied before oath ceremony everything was fine, so my case what to expect, that's why I moved to Japan and work here if I didn't get my immigrant visa I will ask my wife to move Japan.

@God Did I’m sorry you both had to go through all of that. definitely sounds like an extremely stressful situation. it seems they like to just make the process harder on all of us, and just expect everyone to keep handing them over money while we all play the waiting game 🙄

@miaa brown my wife citizenship petition we handled by ourselves we did provided what USCIS needs, after all my wife had passed citizenship test and waiting for oath ceremony then suddenly she got letter from USCIS that they denied citizenship, what a joke, and then on my case because of our experience with my wife citizenship case we decided to hire immigration attorney to handle my case and you don't believe I already payed 7000+$ to attorney because I got 3 RFE, now at the end I m expecting positive results but finger crossed if my Case denied which hopefully this will not happen otherwise my money and the efforts me and my wife did will be wasted. I just pray to Allah (God) to help me and help all of who is facing this kind of situation. thanks my English isn't good sorry

@Tia Forris my pd August 2021 did they send you the EAD?

@giff red yes my filing date was August 3rd 2021 , 7 months after which was March 1st 2022 I got approved for my EAD and received my SSN and EAD card in the mail 3 days later . haven’t heard back anything from uscis until March of this year where they updated my I130 case as being actively reviewed in March 1st , and sent for my medical for form I485 in April , I sent in the RFE a few day after and they updated my case as receiving the RFE on May 15th 2023 and after that I haven’t gotten any other updates just waiting and hoping to get some good news soon . A few days ago my I130 case went from “ taking longer than expected to process “ to “ 1 week until decision is made on your case “ , so it’s just a waiting game right now . my case was originally at the NBC and after they sent the RFE in April I realized I had to mail the documents to Baltimore so I guess they transferred my case to the Baltimore field office .

@Tia Forris good luck 🍀 I didn’t received any updates since august 2021 , they didn’t even send me the EAD , every time I contact them they say your case process normally so I did everything nothing works, I give up 😩

@giff red wow that truly must be frustrating and here I am thinking mine is going slow and you haven’t gotten anything since you filed wow 🤯 good luck to you also and I pray you get everything at once and that you get it very soon ❤️❤️ and in my opinion uscis just doing their own thing because I know of close friends and family that filed last year and already got their green card this year and my sister filed in February of this year and got back her work permit in June . it’s truly unfair for persons that filed over two years ago and haven’t gotten approved as yet and persons like yourself that ain’t even got a EAD !. 🤦🏽‍♀️ praying for you .
