Passport on file expired
Since my case is pending for 21 months now , My passport got expired last June. Does uscis need valid passport during final adjudication ?

As far as I know, it’s not required to have a valid passport for AOS.

yes, but you ll get RFE. we got RFE asking for proof of renewal when passport was going to be expired in 6 months

@a k i got RFE waiting for physical copy. I applied back in dec 2023 and june 2025 passport that is on file got expired which I already renewed it. i hope RFE is about my passport.
