Parole in Place / I 601A
My wife(green card holder)has applied for my I601A it’s been almost 2 years. I understand that at this point the waiting period is 44 months (best case in scenario another two years of wait )We have been married for 6 years and I’ve been in the US for 22 years. if she becomes citizen, can I qualify for the parole in place? or the petitioner has to be citizen before past june 17th?

You won't qualify as she needed to be a citizen before that date.

Here are three main points for eligibility. Be present in the United States without admission or parole; Have been continuously present in the United States for at least 10 years as of June 17, 2024; and Have a legally valid marriage to a U.S. citizen as of June 17, 2024.

In my understanding, if she becomes a citizen you can convert your case to adjustment of status, bc you will be married to an American citizen and don’t need the waiver anymore. But it’s better to consult your lawyer.

adjustment of status is only with a legal entry. and other are saying you won’t qualify for PIP, the waiver and consular processing might be your only option.
