july 8,2021. Nebraska service center at first then moved to Vermont. actively reviewing from November and December 2021. havent heard after that

were you in California when you first applied? i wonder if USCIS assigns I-130 based on state of residency or it’s just random

It's randomly assigned so you can't ask them to move it. I live in NJ and my husband's case is at California Service Center.

@nigel pantry yes, i contacted uscis live agent, he told me it was transferred to Vermont. i asked why didnt i get any notice, he said sometime we just transfer it without sending notice, didnot answered me anything much after that.

@vivian ada did you talk to live agent via emma? they will let you on spot if your case is transferred.

yes I did talk to Emma but also called USCIS and was directed to send an email which I did. I have not gotten a response back.

My mothers case was approved today. so excited. Does anyone have an idea on what the next step is for parents in Nigeria?
