I just need a space to vent. My PD is May 17, 2022 and I’ve heard nothing from these pathetic imbeciles. Calls, inquires, chats, every answer is always the same “your case is taking longer than expected to process.” Then I see people getting approved who filed months ago and it sends me into a firey rage because it’s simply unfair somebody who filed after me gets approved first. I’m beginning to believe what a friend said, the wait is because we’re a gay couple. My husband is from Canada, it shouldn’t take nearly two years to process a case. Everyone working for this government entity are enemies of the people. I wouldn’t wish this turmoil on my worse enemy. Thanks for letting me vent. 🙏

I'm straight and I've been waiting since 2021 for an i130 approval.. just got an rfe in November, responded in December and still waiting.. got my 485 denied year 2022, and had to refile again in year 2023, just got my combo card 3 months ago.. so trust me your sexuallity ain't got a thing to do with your case.. in 2024 I'm waiting for my final decision now and I file in 2021.. they just don't care. simply put.

I don’t think it’s because you’re gay. lots of gay people get approved quick. I think it’s honestly just luck. it’s absolutely ridiculous that people are approved in 3 months when others wait years. I wish they just processed them in a logical first in, first out basis. good luck!!!!
