Opinions needed
My husband EAD card was approved on January 23,2024. It was then delivered to our Attorney office on February 5,2023 per USCIS and USPS. They have not reached out to even notify us that they have received it. I thought that maybe they were waiting for the SSN card to be delivered before mailing the EAD card since our Attorney is in another State. Are we just being impatient? Is this normal?

@Hov Oh I did send a message yesterday to ask when we should expect to receive it but they only read the message and did not reply. I just hate to bother them by calling because I know they have more clients than just us and wanted opinions on if we were just being impatient.

If I’m paying for the service and I see that there’s confirmation that they already receive your document, don’t feel like a bother , call them up tomorrow and let them know you are aware and on top of things and have knowledge that they got the document and ask them to mail it to you. There’s nothing wrong on your part by doing that honestly, (even if you may feel so, you shouldn’t ) some offices are really busy with so many cases and they probably get ton of stuff delivered and you better stay on top of them ! call them and stress the crap out of them because that’s a long time not to notify you. As soon as mine updated to say card was delivered I drove to the office to get it myself .

Thank you everyone for the comments. I unfortunately am one of those people who never questions anything but a lot of your comments have put into perspective for me that we are paying clients and we deserve answers. Unfortunately we weren’t able to go to our attorney office as she is multiple states away and unfortunately are not able to drive there because of how far way it is. I did call yesterday and was told that they will get it out as soon as possible and provide a tracking number. We will not make this same mistake when the green card is approved and delivered. We will go in person to get it.

Danielle hi, how do you know it was delivered to your attorney office? You had the tracking info on your online account?
I’m also waiting for my EAD to arrive but I have no delivery info showing on my account yet.

@12/19/2022 marca yes on the online account we received a tracking number to track it. Sorry for the late response I haven’t been using this app as much lately.
