looking at this sample so far, EB1 will not be Current for India for sure. I my view it could be 2023 January! Others, what you feel?

in my opinion if they move max a year that will help 2021/22 cases to clear quickly.

@G L it will only move 4 to 5 months around july/august 2022. Based on USCIS data there are 10600 pending 485 with PD between Feb and Dec 2022. Based on these numbers + portings + USCIS following quarterly visa number, I dont think it moves to 2023. hope I am wrong but USCIS data is clear (unless their data pull is wrong). any hope to reach 2023 is mostly in FY 2026 and not earlier

@Chin P @Atharv A @Hello World Yes, I agree with your analysis. I was looking numbers and yes… it may be June 2022 in October VB. I only had hope because in the ladt three months USCIS has cleared lot of cases and consumed all Visa numbers. No wastage this time. At the same time, there are no spillover from Family Based as well. Its also consumed. Whatevrr new visa’s available will push only few months in EB1.. But EB2 and EB3 will remain where it is now or may retrogress. God save EB2/EB3

@my moto Looking at the backlog it does not appear so… FAD can be pushed by 6 to 8 months upon getting new set of visas for next fiscal year. My best estimate is in October VB it may be Dec 22 or Jan23… for EB1. Hard reality is, India EB1 will never become Current going forward…
