online vs by mail
I feel like online applications are taking more time due to the different IOE numbers. I wish I knew this before I applied 😞

how do you know?

according to the one of the website I used to check for everyday approvals it shows mostly09 cases only 10-15 case of 9**** . @m a @Alejandro Wang

that’s not true. IOE itself means ‘USCIS online account (efile)’, no matter you did it by mail or directly online, case number starting with IOE just means it’s processed online. The difference in codes are: CSC – California Service Center. EAC – Eastern Adjudication Center (now known as Vermont Service Center) IOE – USCIS online account (efile) etc, IOE is in general faster because they are processed online

@E S so far I see online mail people get that number
jatt jJul 12, 2023
@E S saw lot of posts where people talk about the this 09 and 9 . The mail stuff work like you send your papers in the email and uscis scans into the system and make it IOE09 serial wise . but online you get random number 92,93,94 etc

@E S did you apply online ? DOES your IOE STARTS WITH 09 ?
E SJul 12, 2023
@jatt j Yup, I’m online and mine starts with 09. And if you just search IOE09discussions in this app you can find other people who had filed online and get 09
