I haven’t contacted Obudsman but I contacted the congressman and they were very very fast! try to call them and there should be form that you need to fill our for immigration assistance and attach all documents that might help your case. the office will aslo help you figure out what documents to submit.

I've contacted ombudsman's office last week, the day after I submitted my request I received an email from them basically saying that they're NOT prioritizing expedite requests at this time, wait for reply, nothing since then.

I contacted them, they submitted inquiries to USCIS on my behalf, then after a long time USCIS replied that my case is under active review and I have not heard from either for over 2 months.

based on severe financial loss? what proof did you submit?

it is not for expedite request, my i-485 is outside of normal processing times
