I asked chat gpt to give me an estimate based on the dates it came out in the previous years. It said between the 8th-15th of every month. So likely today or they’re postponing it this month

@I C the visa bulletin is for October and it can be released any day in September. There is no chance of them postponing it.

@Miracle E I asked ChatGPT to calculate every VB date in the last years, and all of them fell on the 8th-15th of the prior month. I asked the chat to give me an example of when it was posted after the 15th and there’s no history of it. It’ll evidently come out in September, but as other members have shared, there might be an unprecedented occurrence this month in which it is posted at a later date.

although it’s good to know the PD date movement soon, whether the bulletin is released today or next week, they will be applicable from October 1st 2023 onwards I guess.

I am taking a guess that the PD for each employment category will go ahead from now on as it has been set way back in some categories. So I am taking a guess that we may not see a drastic retrogression for any employment category in this fiscal and perhaps that’s how it has been designed. I am not an expert, just taking a guess.

so I have submitted my AOJ app back in April 2023 and my PD is Jun 2022. what does this mean when we say that our PD is current?
