October filers still waiting???
It has been 8 full months since I sibmitted my N-400 with a pending I-751 from November 2024.
FO: Los Angeles
USCIS keeps postponing processing times in their website, now it hit 9 months for 80% of the cases!
I have clean background and not from a banned country either. It is a constitutional right to apply for citizenship. But the system is broken and slowing the process everyday. No one is raising their concerns about this issue. We all have jobs, families, lives and plans based on this processes. It is also not fair that applicants who have applied before October 2025, had their files processed in shorter periods and got their citizenship. No one to talk, no one to vent, no one to ask for an information! I tried USCIS help desk and local congressman too, no solution!

why you complaining? just sue them because that’s the only language they understand nowadays! no congressman or anyone would help you

it's crazy! we're in the exact same boat! almost identical timeline. I've put so many things off due to uncertainty. It's so sad. like our lives mean nothing to them. 😔

@B A Same here, and I feel you. Based on this app statistics, USCIS was processing around 30,000 case/Month and since then the number of processed cases kept going down to 6,800 last month, and seems this month will be even lower! The inquiry date is changing (Pushed) multiple times, was Mid June when applied back in October 2025, now it's December, 29. As far as I know, waiting is the only thing to do, since the case isn't out of processing time. which I think will never be if they can change it the way they want :(

waiting since November 2023 for i751

@misho adams they found a way around this with pushing processing times further. so even if you sue (mandamus) not high chance to win because the reason will be “within normal processing time”

@betcha dreamer & @Isco Gha keep in touch please if anything updates on your case

@Dan R I-751 is normal for taking 3-4 years. N-400 is crazy longer comparing to last years’ 3-4 months processing times. I have many friends who got theirs within 3-4 months while pending I-751 from years ago

@B A will do
