i called the uscis regarding this, and she said it doesn’t matter that the visa bulletin changed, it doesn’t mean that your case will be approved soon🤦🏻‍♀️

but it does make a significant difference. If visa bulletin kept moving as slow as it was, that would mean you would have to wait until your case is approved, and wait for an interview until your date showed up on the visa bulletin, which could have taken several months more or years if it hadn’t moved like it did. Now, it’s possible that whenever your case is approved it could take months to maybe a year to get an interview. Just my thoughts based on similar cases to mine.
