I took 25 days in my case for the welcome letter

it took me 33 days to receive it

30 days and still waiting

I have over 53 days and nothing

@Jeanne C We got approved on October 19, 2022 and received the welcome letter from the Dominican Republic Embassy on January 31, 2023

@L R thank you so much for the information.. So, it does take 90 plus days 😭. Do you mind me asking, after the welcome letter did it take long to complete the process (the applicant to arrive to the US)?

@Stephanie Cruz I heard that one is much faster than the fiance visa after receiving your USCIS approval

@Jeanne C I would say it went quickly since we were able to get the VAC appoinmeng for February 17, 2023 and the interview for March 2, 2023. He got approved on the spot and the passport was ready on March 15, 2023.

make an inquiry on the NVC website and check if uscis already sent your case to NVC

I have 90 days and still nothing. my case was approved on may 20🥲

The welcome letter can take anywhere from 15-90 days. You receive the welcome letter when your case has been sent to your embassy.

@Jos Ro Yes, thank you for the suggestion. I made an inquiry the beginning of August and I was told that NVC received my case but im still awaiting to be input in there system. I’m thinking that I can make an inquiry in another 30 days.

@Britney Santana If you haven’t already, send an inquiry to NVC and check on your status. I think you are going to receive the email any day now 🙏

I’m june 30th and from DR too and i suggest you send another inquiry 🤷🏻‍♀️I sent one on the 15th got a response yesterday with the same answer as before (received but not in system) i automatically sent another inquiry because I see that they have been sending case numbers days before it hits 60. it’s worth the try

I’m in a fb group for dr and apparently we don’t get a welcome letter. we just have to send the inquiry to get the case number and proceed from there.

i only got the case number, in the group they said we don’t need the invoice number🤷🏻‍♀️. and no deff here to help ! you can go ahead and fill out the ds160 form but don’t submit til the case is ready.

@kat L it happened similar with me, I traveled to DR on the 28th and the 29th I received the NOA 2, girl I partied everyday for like a week lol
