how long from your approval until you got your welcome letter? I got approved Monday and still waiting

@Rita Bhandari you should get yours soon! mine was approved 3rd Feb and just got case status update that it was finally sent to department of state. I’m hoping to get our welcome letters in the next 24 hours!

Hello@Shagufta T where to see the case status? Does it show in the same USCIS website where there is an approval letter and everything. Right now mine show case closed.

after welcome email you must log on to the website given in the email and submit all documents. You now have to pay fees, fill out and submit D260. After all this is done you can check if they accepted your documents. It will say documentarily qualified. Only after fhis process they will schsdule your interview. Make sure your print or save the confirmation page.

@E R I have a paralegal that's doing it however they were telling me that NVC is currently working on 2022 cases and I have wait until they get to my priority date. I have been hearing different things. I am trying not to think too much about it

@My journey 🫶🏽 ❣️ if you are married to a U.S citizen your priority date is current. It means once you pay the fees, submit all documents they will work on scheduling your appointment. The date of interview depends on the embassy. Do yoi have the email they sent? Theres an invoice number and case number. You can check yourself

ceac state.gov/iv...put in the case # invoice #..If you are the one filing you are the petitioner. Everthing you need to do is there..Im assuming you paid the visa fees?? you can fill the ds260 and upload all documents requested
