check NVC timeframe to follow up

they don’t really have backlog for getting welcome letter na spaying NVC fees. but for getting interview it depends on where you spouse lives

some have one to two years backlog while some don’t have

but I do have to wait for their email to pay the fees correct? I thought there was a more wait time to hear from them for an email.

You will receive it pretty quick so you can pay the fees and submit documents.but it depends. we received an email from NVC in 3 days Waiting to be DQ since December 9

thats 3 days after being or three days after receiving your approval letter? regardless of whichever that’s pretty fast.

Our case were approved on November 22 and sent to department of state on November 25 . NVC letter with case number came on November 27. The actual approval letter from uscis were received by mail very fast in few days

I hear some people are not receiving their mail on time . a matter of luck There is no backlog at the NVC . But how fast your visa interview appointment will be scheduled depends on your country.

that’s pretty’s cool. i got my approval mail in 4 days. just was worried about how long the NVC process would take to start sending in documents and paying the necessary fees. hopefully I am as lucky as you to get the welcome letter that quick because I did read some people it took them 70-80 days to get their welcome letter.

Hope you’ll receive it fast . make an inquiry if you won’t receive in a week or so. Definitely do not wait 60 days . it always better to notify them, so that they will pay attention to you

I got approved on Aug/30/2022 got my NOA-2 on Sept/4th. Waited till November for my case number and didn’t get anything, I contacted my congressman to make an inquiry, as soon as they did, I got my case number the next day. That is when I figured out my case was already sent to US consulate Oct/27 and since then it was ready. we don’t need to upload docs for fiancé visas. We just need to fill out DS-160 print confirmation page, then soon as you get the case number you can schedule your own interview and fingerprint.

How did you ask for the inquiry?

I was approved 10/1/22 & received no correspondence from NVC & 90 days will be up on Friday

@Sam Max you send inquiries to NVC from here. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html I can’t tell you how long they response in. so it’s better to get congressman involved and they send it. they get answer fast.

my case was approved since July 2020 and case was created at NVC n never received any other response from NVC until now

@Wendy Wendy, understandable. but don’t go to the senators. check who is your local city congressman. I really hope and pray they will help. it worth giving it a shot.

i think they reply depends on what country and embassy is processing it case.
