did u pay Affidavits support fees too ?

@Umer Raza yes i paid both. after three days it changed to “paid”. and we started uploading required documents, and I submitted my ds260. today it was changed to “pay now”!?

@M K omg the same thing happened to me today I got an email saying my payment was not processed and if it did to send bank statements. this is so frustrating because the money was paid why they doing this now our case will be delayed again I guess

@M R same here 🤦🏻‍♂️ and the money went through and deducted from our account! if it didn’t process successfully, why did u guys change it to paid initially… I submitted the bank statement as well, now waiting for their response

@M K I send bank statement Saturday and they already updated the account but it still say pay even do they respond that they accept most of our paperwork

@A K they requested more information today like a better copy of my husband birth certificate and paystub my previous marriage divorce paperwork. I already uploaded it but it still showing PAY fee 😩

@Nessy - they sent me what it seems like a template reply: To Whom it Concerns: Thank you for your inquiry. Duplicate and rejected fee payments should be resolved by pay.gov within 30 days. If it has been more than 30 days and your bank account has not been credited for your duplicate or rejected payment, please contact pay.gov directly. If your fee payment status shows "rejected" in the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC), you will need to log back into CEAC to repay your fees.

just received a reply to my public inquiry To Whom it Concerns: The correspondence submitted is currently under review. An appropriate action will be taken once this review is completed.

@Nessy - Oh that’s better how did u contact them ASKNVC? And what did you submit with your enquiry? At last, did you submit the documents on CEAC then the payment status change? or did it change before you submit the documents?

@M K i sent them a message through public inquiry with the evidence that I paid. I couldn’t submit additional evidence for my AOs though since my account does pay now. my AOs documents were not accepted but my husbands legal docs and ds 260 were accepted. which is why i paid the AOs again just so that they unlock that section and that I can upload the documents. but od still shows pay now

@M K omg that’s awesome 👏 my husbands changed to completed paid and accepted but mine still says in process. our expedite request for expedite processing at the embassy was approved today.. so now I don’t know about my paperwork and all that

@M K yes 😅 and now it’s all at the embassy due to the expedite 🙉 and I paid the aos fee twice and we’re not able to upload more

@M K thank youu ☺️ they send you an email and on the nvc ceac website in the upper right corner. and it also shows it in the case tracker app

@nessy what did you base your expedite request on? @M K I also paid the fees twice they did accept all his stuff just mind still say submit I am praying for something soon

@M R no not yet, hopefully they will reach out soon as it is an expedite request approval. but from my understanding the wait time is not that bad here in Germany. only up to a month. my biggest worry is that I was not able to upload my AOS due to the lack of the system. not sure if that will make any issues

update so they now accepted all my documents except the AOS form which was the EZ one. apparently I don’t qualify for that . eventhough they said all my forms have been submitted to the embassy I uploaded the correct one and submitted it

@Nessy - I had sign mine electronically and they said I had to sign n scan and resubmit I did that over a week and they still haven’t looked at it. still say submitted.

@Nessy - congrats!! how long did it take NVC to approve the documents? and that was quick honestly for scheduling the appointment 😅 which embassy?

@M K thank you 🙏 it’s germany. I had an expedite request approved through USCIs and then when my paperwork was submitted to nvc I sent another request for expedite . at that time our documents weren’t approved yet as they had those payment issues at nvc. so approving those after payment took like 3-4 weeks. but it was only that quick here because of the expedite

@M R thank you for the number. after all docs say accepted they send it to the embassy for review. if you have a good reason you can send an email to nvcexpedite@state.gov and request an expedite appointment. they don’t decide that… but they send your request to the embassy and if the embassy approves your expedite then they forward them your documents right away

@Nessy - these ppl are absolutely insane after they accepted everything they turn around within 24 hours and rejected one which is the correct response. did you have any luck with calling yesterday I had none they say that they don’t do any refund it would be with nvc directly but nvc say it them I am so over all this.

@M R some people disputed it with their bank. and then the banks take care of it. you have evidence that you need to pay it once and then you have evidence that you paid more than once for the same thing… all that you need to give to your bank and dispute so then they will refund

@M R I didn’t call them yesterday, I called them. like 2 weeks ago when it happens to me and I asked for them to email me a receipt that they have received my money. so they did. I sent it through the inquiry fo nvc and they changed both AOs and the ds 260 to paid. BUT since they accepted my husbands documents and not mine because someone that looked at it couldn’t read or whatever and said that I don’t make enough 🙄 my AOs was not accepted . in order to be fast and upload all kinds of evidence I paid that fee again. yet I did not bother to contact my bank to dispute the 120$ . I thought ok screw it, maybe they need the money so that’s why everyone is paying twice 😂

@Nessy - I did call my bank but girl this the government they don’t need our Money especially for all the horror they put us through with this process. I just want to be with my baby at this point 😊
