@Pablo mari .. for the petitioner ( certificate of naturalization or copy of the GC , birth certificate, tax returns for the past 3 years and W2s “ if you have less than 3 years tax returns submit it and submit paystubs for this year , I-864 affidavit of support, marriage certificate, W2 for last year and marriage certificate ) . for beneficiary you can’t upload the documents before you finish the DS-260 finish this first then you can upload these documents ( birth certificate , marriage certificate , police clearance, copy of the first page of the passport and personal picture size 6*6 )

@M K we submitted the documents on April 27th and she got DQ today so ( 28 days ).

@Saba T in your approval letter they indicated that it might take up to 45 days but in fact usually it’s 3-7 days after the official approval.. for you , you might receive it any time next week .. my brother in law took only 3 days after the official approval

@Saba T what you can do now , just prepare all the documents for the nvc .. once you submit everything right from the first time you will get DQ within a month any missing documents will cause two to three months of delay

@Jackie B. I think those under your visa category might take 2-3mos for them to receive their nvc welcome letter. A friend of mine under K1 who got their approval last March 9 received their welcome letter from nvc yesterday. You are almost there!

@roro April 2022 what does this mean, it says this on this app about what to do next You can proceed with I-485 application (if staying in the US) or immigrant visa application (if outside the US), when your priority date is current.

@Saba T this app give you two options to use for your next step .. if you are inside the USA then you need to apply for I-485 ( adjustment of status) or the 2nd option if you are outside the USA then you have to go with the consular process ( this step you don’t have to do anything for now .. your next update will be ( case was sent to the department of state) ..

@Saba T hey .. sorry I just saw this .. you can change your husband address after you pay the fees and start filling the DS-260 .. you don’t need to take any other actions unless you want to change the country of interview ( embassy)

@Saba T for U.S citizen it’s the status is current all the time .. whenever you get DQ you have to wait for your visa interview turn

@Saba T the interview can take anywhere from 2-6 months .. and ofc you can always find a reason to expedite

@Saba T he paid it right after he received the nvc welcome letter.. it took them 3 days to process the transaction and when he received an email stating that he can upload the documents he did upload all of them at the same time .. she got DQ ( 20 days after he uploaded the documents now his wife waiting for her interview ( Cairo embassy) total days from nvc welcome letter to DQ 28 days

@Saba T if you submit all the documents at the same time you will get DQ after 2 weeks of the submission date

@roro April 2022 My husband who lives in Jeddah is only able to get 1 month police clearance report and not able to get it for 1-2 years. He tried many different things but still getting it for 1 month. should go ahead and submit that police clearance report to NVC or what should he do.
